This season has been absolutely incredible! A year full of hard work, and now that we are reaching the final stretch, I finally have some time to look back… I couldn’t be happier with everything I’ve experienced—wedding after wedding, day after day, couple after couple, and photo after photo.
This is one of my favorite weddings of the season. Behind it was an amazing team, and the venue is undoubtedly one of the best. Without a doubt, this place is in my Top 10 wedding venues in Andalusia. A wedding in Cortijo San Francisco, a beautiful estate surrounded by nature near Estepona, was the perfect setting for this special day.
A few days before their wedding, I met Beatriz and Mike in Marbella for the first time, where we had an engagement session. We chose Marbella as the backdrop because it offers so much variety—the old town, stunning gardens, and the sea nearby. I always love shooting there!
Beatriz looked like she had stepped out of a "J’adore Dior" commercial—her golden dress, sleek and elegant, was already giving me hints of how stunning her wedding would be. And yet, she still managed to surprise me! The logistics of the day were a bit tricky. In the end, I made it to the church thanks to Beatriz’s uncle, who drove me there. Initially, I had planned to go in the bride’s car, but at the last minute, we had to change plans.
But beyond that little anecdote… wow, what a wedding!
A Dream Wedding Reception at Cortijo San Francisco
After the ceremony at the church in Alhaurín el Grande, everyone returned to Cortijo San Francisco for the wedding reception, where Tatiana, from ArteBoda, worked her magic. When we had left the estate earlier, the decoration was still incomplete. But by the time we returned… what a transformation!
A simple garden had turned into a luxurious open-air reception hall with white drapery and candlelight to create a romantic atmosphere. Glass tables, golden plates, and an abundance of flowers everywhere. Everything was set for Beatriz and Mike to celebrate their wedding in Cortijo San Francisco in the most spectacular way.
